Operations Geoscience Specialist I – Entry-Level Opportunity (MENA)

Job Overview
This is an entry-level position designed for candidates with a geological or petrophysical background. You will be trained in drilling operations, geosteering, geomechanics, and formation evaluation, while supporting live projects and client operations within a specific MENA country, with opportunities to support regional and global projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform geological and petrophysical evaluations during drilling operations
Process and interpret LWD, wireline, geosteering, and geomechanics data
Provide wellsite technical support and real-time operational assistance
Participate in pre-drill planning and wellbore stability projects
Conduct data quality checks and SQ reviews
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation
Work closely with clients and petroleum engineering teams
Support HSE compliance and incident-free operations
Participate in training and continuous skill development
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to interpret formation evaluation data
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Fluent in English and Arabic (written & spoken)
High mobility and willingness to travel or relocate
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or Geology
No prior experience required (fresh graduates encouraged)
Strong technical communication skills
