We are currently hiring an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support UAE operations, focusing on location approval assessments for jack-up barges and rigs across the Middle East. This role is ideal for senior professionals with strong expertise in offshore geotechnical analysis and regional soil conditions.
🏗️ Job Overview
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the safe installation and operation of jack-up rigs and barges. The position involves advanced geotechnical analyses, interpretation of subsurface data, and preparation of clear engineering recommendations for offshore projects.
📌 Key Responsibilities
Perform Leg Penetration Analysis (LPA) and Site Specific Assessments (SSA) for jack-up rigs and barges
Support location approval studies and provide recommendations for safe jack-up installations
Analyze borehole logs, laboratory test results, and geophysical data
Conduct bearing capacity, punch-through, and spudcan interaction assessments
Carry out Pile Driveability Analysis (PDA) using tools such as GRLWEAP for temporary and permanent offshore structures
Prepare high-quality technical reports and communicate findings clearly
✅ Job Requirements
Minimum 7+ years of experience in offshore geotechnical engineering
Strong expertise in jack-up rigs and barges geotechnical assessments
Proven experience with Middle East soil and geotechnical conditions
Excellent written and spoken English
Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
