🔥 Position: Experienced Mud Logger / Field Engineer

🎯 Role Overview

As a Mud Logger, you will be the critical link between drilling operations and geological interpretation. Your job is to monitor rig activity, describe geological samples, and analyze sensor data to ensure the drilling process stays safe, efficient, and informative.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy fieldwork, teamwork, and technical problem-solving under challenging conditions.


🧭 Key Responsibilities

As part of the field operations team, your daily responsibilities will include:

🔍 Real-time monitoring of drilling parameters and mud system behavior

🪨 Collection, preparation, and detailed description of geological cuttings

⛑️ Supporting safe rig operations by analyzing trends and alerting drilling teams to gas kicks or abnormal events

🛠️ Providing on-site technical support during equipment failure or operational issues

🧪 Assisting the Wellsite Geologist during coring operations

🗣️ Accurate communication with Data Engineers, drilling teams, and client representatives


This is a role where precision, awareness, and proactiveness make a real difference on the rig.




🎓 Required Qualifications & Skills

To succeed in this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

🎓 A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field

⏳ Minimum 12 months of experience as a Mud Logger

🌊 Willingness to work on both onshore and offshore rigs

🔄 Ability to cope with rotational schedules and intense field conditions

🗣️ Fluency in English, both spoken and written

🤝 Strong communication and interpersonal skills


👉 Introductory training on Geolog software, tools, and company procedures will be provided upon joining.
